Kelly Services is partnering with Signode —a leader in packaging products—to hire a full-time Maintenance Technician in Bridgeview, IL . This is a direct hire position , so you’ll be brought on permanently from day one—not a temp or contract role.
They’re hiring for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts , but you’ll need to be able to train on 3rd shift for the first 4–6 months . There’s also occasional Saturday overtime , especially during scheduled preventative maintenance.
Starting pay is $38/hour , plus shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You’ll also get a $2,000 sign-on bonus —half paid after 30 days, the rest after 6 months.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need at least 3–5 years of hands-on experience working in an industrial setting as a Maintenance Electrician or Maintenance Technician . You’ll need your own basic electrical tool set (specialty tools will be provided), and steel-toe/safety shoes are required. Experience working on older machines is important—and if you’ve worked in a mill environment , that’s a strong advantage.
