Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Administrative Assistant for a large and established organization in Houston. As an Administrative Assistant , you will provide essential support to project managers, engineers, and office staff while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the office. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment where your organizational skills and attention to detail directly contribute to the success of multiple departments.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and answer incoming calls professionally.
  • Provide administrative support to project managers, engineers, and office staff.
  • Prepare and edit documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Maintain organized filing systems, both digital and paper-based.
  • Schedule meetings, coordinate calendars, and arrange travel as needed.
  • Assist with data entry, billing, and invoicing.
  • Order office supplies and manage inventory.
  • Support HR and accounting teams with documentation and compliance tracking.
  • Ensure the office is clean, organized, and running efficiently.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative or office experience; experience in engineering or construction is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
