About the Role

Refresh is looking for a  Painting Field Manager to support our fast-growing Paint Division. This role is boots-on-the-ground and focused on leading, training, and developing painting crews across Northeast Ohio. You’ll work closely with new hires to ensure they’re following procedures, hitting quality standards, and becoming reliable, independent team members.

This is a hands-on position for someone who still knows how to cut a clean line, but also understands what it takes to build and manage a team.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Support the Leadership with morning crew setups and prep
  • Work side-by-side with new hires during their first few months
  • Rotate through crews (2–6 painters) providing coaching, mentoring, and skills development
  • Conduct punch walks to ensure quality and completion
  • Handle supply runs and logistics as needed
  • Fill in on painting projects when call-offs happen
  • Be involved in leadership meetings and help shape the future of the division
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of professional painting experience
  • 5+ years of management experience , ideally in a skilled trade (crew size of 6+ required)
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
  • Customer-focused with high attention to detail
  • Organized and reliable with a take-ownership mindset
  • No certifications required – we care more about real-world experience and leadership presence

Pay is based on experience. Bonus incentives are available based on performance and division results.
