Job Description

:

As a Parts Room Clerk at Holbrook Heating, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our technicians have the necessary materials to provide exceptional service. In addition to receiving and organizing incoming parts, you will also assist in distributing parts to our team. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be instrumental in maintaining an efficient parts room.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming parts and materials.
  • Verify quantities and quality of received items, reporting any discrepancies.
  • Label, tag, and properly store parts in designated locations within the parts room.
  • Assist in the distribution of parts to the HVAC team.
  • Maintain an organized and clean parts room environment.
  • Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing orders for internal departments as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams regarding any shipment or inventory-related issues.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, usage, and re-order points.
Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • You must be 21 years of age or older to apply for this position with Holbrook Heating
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a residential HVAC company.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software or tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC parts and equipment.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
  • Forklift certified is a plus

Compensation details: 16-19 Hourly Wage
