Processing Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Work with management to provide oversight of the Processing Department, with an emphasis on safety, quality, and efficiency
• Provide direct supervision to Processing employees ensuring that staff have the tools and support they need to complete assigned tasks
• Provide guidance to staff during shift transfer, working with management and other supervisors to ensure clear direction and motivation for incoming shifts
• Evaluate and motivate staff to create and maintain a strong and industrious work environment
• Consistently achieve production goals regardless of unforeseen issues that may arise
• Approve batch sign-offs, ensuring that records are accurate and that batches are correctly processed
• Manage employee attendance and disciplinary records for the department
• Provide training for equipment and Processing duties
• Constantly analyze production flow to identify areas of improvement
• Work cross functionally with other departments to ensure targets are met

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• 2+ years’ experience leading a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in beverage or food manufacturing with familiarity of SQF preferred.
• Effective communication skills and a demonstrated ability to lead organizational initiatives.
• Ability to have coaching conversations and develop employees successfully.
• Project management experience. The ability to set priorities based on business and customer needs.
• Strong computer skills, specifically in digital communication and office suites.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to support company needs.

Schedule:

Evening shift w some flexing depending upon production needs
